Few days ago I've started to develop a new tool to handle fpm easily. I planned the first version of it will not differ from the original python based frugalpkg. Should be faster.
I'm waiting for any idea and comment except "why do you use wxGTK?".
It was long since my last post and bump. But I am back to maintain x86_64 packages. Does anyone know a fine and nice new girlfriend for me?
Ehh... there is 431 packages to port to x86_64 architecture. Long work. I hope someone could help us. Maybe God.
Now it handles subpkgs. If you are not sure use -p option to see only the commands.
I've made a simple python script to make some maintaining steps easier. It makes the following steps automatically: darcs rec, darcs push, repoman up & repoman cl.
Please test it and report me some bugs or features!
Statutory. wxGTK 2.6.3 was released on 25th of March. I cannot bumped its version because of improvement freeze. I have a nice acronim. FWIF - Frugalware Improvement Freeze. So... I'm working on wxgtk-devel subpackage to abolish conflics between wxgtk and wxgtk-u8. Crazy planned to add some new functions what configure support, like --with-odbc etc.
Yesterday I've built many missing x86_64 packs. It was a hard work and thanks vmiklos for helping me. Some of packages has no source to download. The build was failed at download: "Forbidden 403". I will test x86_64 install cd-s as soon as it will be available.
Gnomebaker program supports only gstreamer 0.8. There is a new package gstreamer08 for copatibility.
The latest Frugalware x86_64 netintall cd was tested and it works correctly on my system.
I've bought a new 200GB hdd and fw coudn't works with it. All of my data lost.
Because of buggy x86_64 install Cd I've installed Frugalware i686. I am working now on i686 arch.
